  • About Me: I love training in Soo Bahk Do MDK! I have almost my entire adult life in the Art of SBDMDK and hope to continue for as long as I physically and mentally am able to. I began training in 1983 in Santa Barbara at Jang's Karate Center and here I still am, 33 years later about to test for Chil Dan and I am looking forward to the journey ahead! I own Santa Barbara Women's Self Defense which is for young girls and women to empower themselves with quick and easy strategies to be and feel safe. I also started at Non-Profit 501(c)3 called Coastal Self Defense Academy to provide empowerment programs to the most challenged members of our community (Braille Institute, Seniors, Brain Injured, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Disabilities and disadvantaged children) . 'Sharing it forward' with gratitude to Soo Bahk Do and the power mentally and physically it has encouraged and cultivated in my life! Soo Bahk!
